Meet the people behind Manitouwadge Lake Pharmacy — committed to your health and the Manitouwadge community we call home.
Manitouwadge Lake Pharmacy is independently owned by Andrew Awadalla and managed day-to-day by Usama Abu Mazen — committed to keeping community pharmacy alive and well in northern Ontario.
Owner
Andrew owns several community pharmacies across Ontario and is passionate about rural communities and the high-level care they deserve. From Manitouwadge to Mattawa to beyond, he's committed to serving the towns that rely most heavily on their local pharmacy — investing in the people, services, and relationships that keep small towns thriving, one neighbour at a time.
Pharmacy Manager
Usama oversees day-to-day pharmacy operations at our Huron Walk location, working alongside our team to keep prescriptions accurate, the shelves stocked, and the front counter friendly. He makes sure every customer gets the personalized, attentive service Manitouwadge has come to expect.

Manitouwadge — Ojibwe for “Cave of the Great Spirit” — sits in the heart of Northwestern Ontario, surrounded by the lakes and boreal forest of the Canadian Shield. It's a small, tight-knit community far from the big city, which is exactly why local pharmacy care matters here. Manitouwadge Lake Pharmacy serves families across the township and the surrounding region, from Marathon to White River to Hornepayne.
We believe healthcare should feel like a conversation with a trusted neighbour — not a transaction at a counter. That's why we take the time to know you by name, answer every question thoughtfully, and go the extra mile with services like blister packs, minor ailments care, and personal medication reviews.
